Hi, I’m Elyse Shockley, Founder of College Bound Admissions.

With a deep understanding of California’s college systems and a genuine passion for guiding students, I help families and students approach this process with less stress and more purpose.

I hold a Master’s in Counseling and College Student Personnel from California Lutheran University, as well as a Bachelor’s in Family and Consumer Sciences from California State University Long Beach. In my work within student services at a local community college, I’ve supported students in both the Career and Transfer Center and the Welcome Center, helping them navigate their educational paths. From career exploration to transfer pathways, college applications, and student success initiatives, I’ve helped students find the right fit for their goals and aspirations.
